Quick recommendation

A charging cable for the Hyundai Tucson Plug-in Hybrid, the only Tucson with a charging socket, sold in the UK since March 2021 and facelifted in 2024. The Tucson Hybrid, the 48V mild hybrid and the petrol models are self charging or petrol only, have no socket and take no cable. The Plug-in Hybrid charges through a Type 2 inlet and takes a Type 2 to Type 2 cable. Both the 2021 to 2024 car and the 2024 facelift carry a 13.8 kWh battery and accept 7.2 kW on single phase. A UK home supply is single phase, so the car draws at most 7.4 kW at home, and the 32A single phase cable delivers the car's full 7.2 kW. Lengths are 5, 10, 15 and 20 metres, the 15 and 20 metre leads in 32A single phase only. Built to IEC 62196-2 and CE certified, IP55 sealed, rated from -30C to +50C, or +60C for the 3-pin. Two year manufacturer's warranty and same-day dispatch on working-day orders placed before 2pm.
