On the newer car a 32A lead puts back about 41 miles an hour against 36 on the original, from an almost identical amount of electricity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAll of them use a \u003cstrong\u003eType 2 to Type 2 Charging Cable\u003c\/strong\u003e. Even on a car fitted with Peugeot's optional 11 kW charger, a domestic supply gives one phase and 7.4 kW, so that is what the car receives at home either way. The 22 kW three phase lead is only worth owning if you have an 11 kW e-208 and regular access to a genuine three phase supply, where the 51 kWh battery comes down to about 5 hours.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe 16A cable is a poor trade on this car. It takes the 51 kWh e-208 from 7 hours 15 minutes to 14 hours 45 minutes and drops recovery from 41 miles an hour to 21.
